Do not read this. it is just me looking for a place to vent my thoughts. I just remembered all the mary sues from my past, when I was still young and stupid (not that I'm not right now) and thought I'd share them here. Syeria: I was fond of unpronounceable names starting with S back then. Darkness elemental, could do basically everything and was also an immortal. I have no idea what I was thinking back then. Died a heroic and extremely sappy death. Sairys: Total mary sue. Most powerful, a whole horde of familiars, broke all the rules and awed everyone with her ultra powerful powers and died a heroic death only to be resurrected. yeah. Viede (v 1.0): a ice dragon-human hybrid, could eat people's souls and everything. Was an assassin and killed alot of people and befriended the enemy then died a heroic death when he refused to kill her blah. Of course that's only where the story begins, and before that he does depressed stuff like moan about how everyone thinks he's a monster and cutting off his horns. Typical. Then he falls in love with Quinn. Quinn, for goodness sakes. He also dissolves into nothing heroically. I'm not sure whether that still stands. Maybe I'll just have him run away from work for around a century. ... I'm so glad that Viede evolved. Though the main storyline is still kinda the same, he's alot more laid back about it. Plus he eats ice cubes and has a kickass scar. What more could you wish for in a main character? |
