Okay I just had this really awesome dream and am rushing to record it down now. It was a really long one by which I mean it lasted from my childhood to my teenage years. (cool right?) So when I was a child, I was living in this place like a school or training academy. I had these few weird friends: A girl who could transform into a kangaroo (like her arms and legs and a kangaroo tail). This was probably influenced by the fireflies kangaroo parody I was listening to yesterday and this. Then there was a gorilla, and a black cat that could transform into a human. Or was it a human that could transform into a cat? idk. There was this incident where the headmaster (which we somehow called the Chief and ran around topless in tribal costume >__>) got stuck in this swamp-bog thing, and he was unconscious there so we went to rescue him. I was trying to make my way over to him on the rocks but the jump was too big for me to cross. And the kangaroo girl was debating whether to use her powers because apparently she will get in trouble for endangering herself, but in the end she went ahead anyway and got the guy out. I think we all did get in trouble at the end, but I don't really remember that part even though it must have instigated everything that happened afterwards. As I grew up I became distracted by my studies and all that and forgot about them. Kinda like how people forget about imaginary friends. Then the next major scene was when there was this talk meeting held in the hall, and we all sat down on cushions and *cough*ms ong*cough was talking about something. Then I was sitting beside LY and suddenly went to tap her shoulder, then she turned around and I realized that she wasn't in red cross. Then we discussed a joint group called Red Cross Guides (idk what's going on anymore) but she wanted guides to be first and I said Guides Red Cross sounded dumb. Then after the talk (which I can't remember, but like all talks it's about some stupid thing) I noticed something hanging by a string from the ceiling at the back of the hall, and it turned out to be a stale taiwan fried chicken. And I asked my teacher what it was and they said they were testing what would happen to it when they left it out for a couple of weeks. This was the first indication to me that they were actually not a school but an organization that carries out experiments. (probably influenced by Octavian Nothing). Then I went back to my room and it was kinda dark there then I realized that there was this person there who used to be my teacher when I was young, (I kinda forgot about her). I cannot remember her name but it started with M and had an e in it, so let's just call her M. Her face was expressionless and I asked her why she was here. And she said that my friend was going to be killed by the Chief. and I asked, what friend? I don't remember having any friends. 'Don't you remember that gorilla, Pierre?' And that was when it all came back to me horrifyingly. 'Why is he getting killed?' Then this weird scenario played out in my head where the Chief spotted Pierre lying around and thought that he was a threat to the students. Then he made a boat-shaped kite out of fruits and sent it up, it was supposed to convey a message saying 'There is a gorilla that is a threat to all of us. I need more ketchup to defeat him.' (I have no idea how a boat symbolizes all that, but it made sense at the time. lol.) People sent ketchup attached to buoys over the sea and when he finally had enough he went in search of the gorilla. But all he found was this little monkey, so he asked it where the gorilla was. It pointed and what he thought was a boulder lying on the beach turned over and he saw the gorilla's face inches from his. Then the vision stopped and I was screaming hysterically for them not to hurt him. M just said 'There is no way we can stop him now. I told the Chief that you didn't have any emotional attachment to it anymore, so he could dissect it for experimental purposes.' Then I said 'But I do now! I've changed! Tell him I've changed!' And I was cursing myself for forgetting him. M: 'It's too late now. In a few moments he will cut out the beast's brain.' Then I realized throughout the whole thing she was just looking at me coldly and recording down my reaction and that this whole thing was just an experiment to see how I would respond to someone killing my friend. Of course I was really mad, and decided that I couldn't stay here anymore, not after what they did to Pierre. I ran away through the school and came to this deserted area sorta like crescent's back gate but bigger, like the kind you'd find in malaysia with trees everywhere. There was sign there with the school's name, which was somehow Outward Bound (something tells me I'll think twice before going there again xD) There was a road leading out and a field of scrawny grass and a fence and another road further away with cars. And I was kinda scared to go out because students were never allowed to leave campus and I've never done it before, but then I realized that it was stupid to think I could hide from them in the school. So I went out and found this generator or humongous fridge by the fence and hid in the space between them. But I found a black cat and a cage there and it hissed at me so I scrambled out and it came after me and jumped on me and I screamed. But then it started licking me and saying 'Oh my goodness you're here! It's really you! Don't you remember me?' And I said no and she told me her name, which started with N and had an o in it, but I also forgot it so let's call her N. She turned out to be the cat-person I knew in my childhood and apparently she escaped and had been hiding here for ages. Then I started crying because I couldn't remember the faces or names of any of my childhood friends except Pierre, but that doesn't count. (brainwashing? short-term memory? idk.) Then I saw M and a group of soldiers come out of the gate and tried to hide behind the black cat in this hollow in the ground. And they came really close but passed without seeing us, but I got the feeling that M was purposely not seeing us idk for what sinister purpose. So I ran across the field to a building on the opposite side and hid behind a pillar. Then I decided that I should just run as far as I can and ran through the corridors to the road. This was the point where my POV suddenly switched to N's. So I was running after the girl but she ran too fast and I lost her trail on a side road. Instead of trying to find it again I stood there hopelessly for 2 minutes, staring at the ground, thinking that she should be on a bus going away from here by now and that she left me here. Then M and her cronies came up and captured me, then someone told me 'Your name is Tetsuoken' and painted the name in teal on this weird armour I was wearing (I was back in human form which was this small girl with tangled black hair and flat black eyes). Then we went back to the school and I was enrolled with these people: a tallish guy with black eyes, who had a white aura and seemed really mature and responsible. A small mischievous guy who was really strong and had a light red-purple aura with a bit of blue-green. Viede was also there, being his normal loser self and wearing this shirt which had the blue chinese letter four on it. There were prolly some other people I couldn't remember. After a few months I gradually got used to life in the school and forgot all about the past. Then one day I saw the Chief come and give the white aura guy these few pieces of chinese gao zi, and said that he should give it to us at noon tomorrow. But somehow he left it on the table and I went to look at them, and they basically contained grades for all of us. Having integrity I didn't look at my own or anyone else's, but on someone else's paper I saw the chinese words 'problem'. Those words just woke me up and I remembered (I was prolly brainwashed into forgetting or it was just something about the school) that I escaped once, and I could do it again, but this time I could take my time and formulate an escape plan. Then I woke up. Some people say that their writing can be inspired by dreams, but I think my dreams are just too cliched xD some person being experimented on, comes to a sudden realization and runs away? where haven't we seen that before. I saw smeyer's new book in popular yesterday, and surprisingly it is rather thin like the title says. Maybe the font size is really small. And I saw two more guides to twilight. Those people who are thinking that I'm obsessed with twilight and went to hunt them out: no. It's just really hard to walk around the books section without humongous stacks of those books punching you in the eye. I bought two more books, And Another Thing... (the small version finally came out! yay! but... I hope it's cheaper o.o didn't check.) and Halo, this book by Zizou Corder who write Lionboy, and it's about Greek stuff and centaurs this time so I'm expecting it to be awesome. I also have not done homework. But let's not think about that now. |
