Whoever said 'Live every day as if it were your last' is a complete utter moron. Or a rich snob with nothing to do.

Because if today were our last day to live, who the heck would go to school? Besides workaholics and masochists, I mean.
Or maybe they expect us to be like those people who are dying of terminal illness, but still go to school and pretend that everything is normal.
'Oh, I'm going to die tomorrow. But that's okay, because today I have understood how the glycerol and fatty acids merge in the epithelial layer of the villi, and I can now die in peace knowing that I have lived my life to the fullest.'

I suppose the adults will claim that it's for our own good and that we're just too darned immature to understand. I will respond to this statement when I am an adult and still loathe school with all my heart, mind and soul.
