Sorry for the crappy photos. I hate iPhone's camera.

Pinion had a naturally introverted disposition. Back in his world, one would most likely find him alone in a corner in the afternoons, always with a stack of paper, origami books, and scissors, of course. After all these had been confiscated due to the rapidly depleting forests and global warming, Pinion was sent to bed by his parents as punishment for putting up resistance, where he promptly withered away and died. When he entered DEATH he was welcomed by the ghosts of papers long burned and buried, and he was happy, for a while. As time passed he became more and more bitter, his personality more bland, as he sorted and photocopied papers under the orders of snotty upstarts centuries younger than he was. Equipped with a new found morbidity and a desire to see them suffer, he formed an alliance with a score of papers in each of the said snotty upstarts' offices. The next day/night, there was not much left of their skin that was untouched by the cruel edge of paper. Pinion gained quite a reputation for himself in DEATH. No one has dared cross him since, which is perfectly fine with him.
Pinion speaks in formal language, loathing the use of short forms and slang.
Pinion uses a wide range of modified paper origami in combat. The most common are the Aerids, paper airplanes that can fly up to high speeds, and specialize in paper cuts. There are also the messenger planes, which seek out the recipient and unfold themselves neatly to show the message. Paper cranes are folded mostly for luck, but if the need arises they can utilize the small needle painstakingly inserted into their beaks by their maker.

Pinion and Zale are rather close, in the sense that if they were threatened to choose a person for company at gunpoint, they would choose each other. They have similar personalities, aka displaying indifference to the world mostly, and annoyance when in their most expressive moods. They both use long range attacks, and have no way of defending themselves physically. They are also one of the most senior and experienced of the young generation in DEATH, and are equally renowned.
