I have been loved, Edward told the stars.
So? said the stars. What difference does that make when you are all alone now?

- The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

... My favourite scene in that book. I wonder if that scene was meant to be similar to the crucifixion, because the illustration of Edward (he's a china rabbit doll)showed him nailed by the ears to this cross like thing. It also makes sense, because Jesus was loved too, but it made no difference, and He was still alone.
Or maybe I'm reading too much into this.

Anyway, this is an awesome book, even though it's a children's book. And the illustrations are just scary (in a HOW THE HECK IS THIS DRAWN?! way.)

I was a bit paranoid when I first saw the name Edward, and especially when 'I love you, Edward' was said in the first chapter or so (twilight, go to tartarus.)
But after that, probably due to the lack of romance anywhere, I started liking that stupid rabbit. Yes, I can say it now. I LOVE EDWARD (Tulane).
The best part is that no one touches faces in this book. So, guess what, Edward Cullen? A china rabbit loves better than you do. And he doesn't even have ABS.

Oh, and before you start thinking Enid Blyton, Edward can't move at all. He can only think, see hear, and love.

For the first time, I have a crush on a guy!
Yes, I am serious.
He's taller than most people, has blue eyes, and is wonderfully mysterious.
Yes, you've guessed it.
It's the djinn from Clash of the Titans.
hwarrrrr.
