I just read Inkdeath and I Am The Messenger again, and I don't think the endings will ever cease to amaze me.

Markus Zusak uses amazing imagery. I like the 'her eyes dangled' parts. sounds sadistic but I think it just means she's looking down lol.
I can still remember thinking that Ed would be a boring old nag when I first read the summary... Now I think I love him as much as Dustfinger. And the best part is that he can help people, not like those cliched superheroes, but without any special powers or anything. As the book says, '... you are the epitome of ordinariness, Ed... And if a guy like you can stand up and do what you did for all those people, well, maybe everyone can. Maybe everyone can live beyond what they're capable of.'
I don't know how many times I've said this already, but I love this book. Mingen's an idiot for not liking it D<

And Inkdeath. The part in the Castle in the Lake is totally the best. Although I had to skip whole chapters before that to keep awake (I read through everything the first time though) >___> especially when the chapter has Elinor or Fenoglio in it. Funke says she likes him though. I have no idea why.
Why did they not mention the Jay's torture part in the summary? I think it was pretty important leh. gah. I should stop blabbering or people will think I'm crazy. Except Illu maybe, who shares my sentiments.

I hate it how people read the first few pages of Inkdeath, then return it to me saying it's boring D: It's been done to me two or more times already. It's so sad that they'll never see the pure awesomeness of the ending and go on and on and on about it with me.

I want Fighting Reuben Wolfe, dammit. Why can't I find his books here?
