I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. - Psalms 82:6 - 7 Stumbled upon these verses and liked them, somehow. I think there's alot of truth in the Chrysalids. If you do anything that differs from people's definition from the norm, and everyone has a different definition, then people will notice it. For sure. So in order not to be noticed, you have to be as normal as possible. Yet if you make yourself too plain then people will also notice that. It's hard to be invisible >___> in the Bartimaeus trilogy there is this man called Hopkins who is so plain hardly anyone notices him, and everyone who does forgets him soon after. I envy him that. I guess if you're invisible, that means you're invincible. Because no one can kill you if no one knows of your existence. |
