I'll leave the way of words to walk the wood I'll be the forest's man, and greet the sun, And feel the silence blossom on my tongue like language. - Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman I just found this again and remembered I thought it was nice. I'm being haunted by Mr Croup. I keep remembering Door's family's throats being cut 'from ear to ear'.. then I keep tracing the part under the jaw that extends from one ear to another... And it's really quite soft and easy to slice through really... GAH MR VANDEMAR GET AWAY FROM ME. You tortured my dear Marquis, so I hate you and that's that. On a random note, I kind of like the chapter of Acts 2. Not for biblical reasons, just for the descriptions o w o I'll quote the parts I like. Acts 2 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: I particularly like 'your old men shall dream dreams'. I don't know why. 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come: No explanation needed. 24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. The whole sentence somehow sounds nice.. 'loosed the pains of death' o___o I like the part where it says 'neither wilt thou suffer'. It just sounds so nice haha. I don't suppose it's wrong to just like the words used right o___o I forgot who wrote Acts but... Awesome. |
