I Am The PERSON WHO LIKES TO FLYYY.
I finished the Princess Bride. And it was just so totally amazing, even more than expected. It isn't especially good like some of the books I've read, and I can't even say what's so good about it, but I just have to love it. And the characters, I don't know why I like them so much either. Inigo's scars are the coolest. And the way he killed Count Rugen is just amazing. And guess what, when I learned that Westley would die, I nearly cried too. I have no idea why. I was just 'Nonononononononono!' I don't like Westley in particular, since he fell in love with a stupid girl like Buttercup, but it just felt so wrong for him to die and I just couldn't accept it like the boy listening to the story. In the end he revived. As expected. I think that resurrection pill is pretty kewl though. Fezzik and Inigo were still the most lovable pair to the end. And there's something about Count Rugen's name that needs to have it repeated over and over in my mind. Though I don't like Count Rugen. I feel so sorry for Westley. Buttercup totally doesn't deserve him. She's a stupid heartless woman and that's that and she never really loved anybody in my opinion. It's funny though, because that's just the way I am, never liking any of the female characters. Let's make a list of the characters I like: Zetsu, Gaara, Xerxes Break, Lavi, Krory, Death, Dustfinger, Farid, Fezzik, Inigo, the unnamed albino, Pinion (yes I like my own character so what.), Tyson, Nico, Todd Hewitt, (I'm not gonna put Jace in here), Undertaker from Kuroshitsuji, Bartimaeus, Scipio from the Thief Lord, and I can't think of any more. Notice a kind of trend? For some reason female characters always annoy me. The only exception is Liesel from the Book Thief really, and that's because she's boyish and Markus Zusak is awesome. Speaking of Markus Zusak, I'm reading I Am The Messenger now. It's awesome. I love this part in the summary: protect the diamonds survive the clubs dig deep through the spades feel the hearts I never thought of the symbols that way before. And as always when I'm reading his writing, I get inspiration. Heck, I wrote two pieces in the span of ten minutes. For me, that is as likely as someone saying my eyes are huge. No, it's definitely less likely than that. My eyes aren't all that small like Mingen would have you believe. I do hope I get pure literature and art next year. The results are tomorrow if I'm not wrong. I started liking art earlier, like ever since I was born, and I only started writing seriously last year, but somehow my writing has more meaning than my art. Maybe because it's easier to write than to draw with photoshop hanging and tablet software ditching you and wobbly hands and all that. Now I'm just making excuses. And MS Word annoys me too. Notepad annoys me also but it's more reliable at least. I shall end off with no idea what I am talking about. As usual. |
