I'm reading To Kill a Mockingbird now, the progress is kind of like what I did for The Book Thief, which is read for a while then get distracted by other books but keep remembering it and come back to read it. Which proves that, it should turn out to be a really good book too. I like Atticus. At first my impression of him was that (why does this sound like an answer to a lit question) he was just an extra guy with a nice name. Then I thought he was pretty wise and a good father. Then when I got to the court case part, I thought he was amazing. He should win an award for Character with Most Common Sense. I can't help comparing him to people like Edward or Bella or... ZOEY REDBIRD. That person scarred me for life. Of course, anyone with a wonderful name like Atticus Finch would be an awesome person. I don't like the name of the main character though. Another person I like is Boo Radley.. His name is nice to pronounce and, let's just say stabbing a scissors into someone's leg wins the respect of people like me and LY. Science was. As expected, FAIL. |
