edit: Stupid rant when I'm bored and supposed to be studying. Zoey: 'I think I'm turning into a ho.' DAMN RIGHT YOU ARE. And you're slow. I think she secretly admires Aphrodite and wants to be like her. It's thundering but not raining now. So dark -.- ... I think Zoey has like mood swings about her boyfriends. When she's with Loren she suddenly likes him and forgets Erik, and when she's with Erik she suddenly starts feeling guilty about how she shouldn't have risked losing him. Or maybe she has three-second memory like a goldfish. I think that's a reasonable theory. 'Clearly I need therapy.' I COULDN'T AGREE MORE. Is Zoey finally seeing some sense? It's almost like a miracle. So can she please go mail herself to some mental hospital now. I feel like putting all her boyfriends in a room and letting them fight to the death, so there'd only be one left and the problem would be solved. Of course Loren would probably win, and he's probably going to betray her according to my predictions, so then she'd be left with no one and die a lonely old woman without ever losing her precious virginity which is perfectly fine with me. And I just realized that she's totally contradicting herself. She says when she's with Erik, she feels all girly and protected and whatever. Then with Loren, she feels like some kind of woman. What the hell does she want exactly? It just sounds like the author is trying to create three kinds of guys to fit all of the readers' preferences: The childhood friend, the sexy adult guy, and Erik who I can only describe as the Edward type but not as freakishly perfect. Gah she's so totally cheesy I'm just going to stop reading. She and Aphrodite are fellow hags so I'm not surprised she wants the name calling to stop. And I don't think I can stop imagining her demise when I go through the book. It's only Chosen... Hopefully she gets a painful death in Untamed. It would be for the good of humanity and world peace and all that, but at least it's a painful death. Actually I'm hoping her boyfriends will come and tear her into three. But that's probably too much to hope for. |
