I'm writing down plots again.
In chronological order, Sairys' story came first, then Viede's, then Azrael's.

Viede's
The story starts when a boy finds himself in this office. I actually wrote it down but it's to sucky to show people. Apparently, the office is a dump, and there are papers everywhere. There are like these holes dug in the papers on the floor, so that you can see the yellowed ones at the bottom and the white ones at the top. I used to think this was kewl, because that was how I keep my stuff.
Anyway, the boy finds this guy sitting at the table, whose name was Daemus (weird name) and finds that he was actually dead. I'm just going to reveal the whole storyline anyways. His name's Viede (duh). In the living world, there is a war going on between the east and west armies (didn't bother with the naming) and there have been these things called hybrids invented. It's basically the merging between humans and some kind of animal for use in battle. So the war is actually a battle between the two armies on who could first invent the best/strongest hybrid. Viede was the strongest in the east army and the west one was this girl whose name I forgot. I think it was Iris or something (sorry, I couldn't resist because of her power, which involved eyes. what alternative is there, Lashes? Pupil? Cornea?) And so, because Viede was so valuable to the army they didn't want to risk him fighting with the stronger people until they really needed him. (same with the other army). This ended up with alot of people being killed because they wanted to protect the more powerful ones. Of course Viede was pretty unhappy about this, him being the protagonist and all. (Protagonists are boring. I would much rather be the antagonist in the story, except they always get killed. But they do get a few kewl moments after all. And their weapons are wicked.)
So after every battle the whole thing will be really messy, and after this particular one Viede was to wait at wherever he was for the people to come and pick him up (I forgot why.) Oh yeah, and his animal part is the dragon. It's something like an ice dragon (well it lives in the ice) so he has slight ice powers, but the main thing is that the dragons eat souls. Souls, in that story, are made up of memories. I'll explain how they eat them later. Anyway, now he was waiting he met the girl from the west army, but because their armies were so big they didn't know that they were enemies. So they became friends, talked about philosophy while drinking tea (maybe not) and they both wished for the war to end so that they could have a more peaceful life. And they promised each other to meet up again after the war ended. The girl (I still can't use Iris, so I'll just change it to Irina ;D) had the power of shapeshifting. She has this eye on her forehead (normal) where she can copy the form of anything she sees. But only the form and not the abilities.
So, when the respective people came to pick them up, they realized that they were from different armies and that they were enemies. But they avoided fighting for the moment.
But later when they met in this battle, they had to fight each other. Of course Viede was stronger (he is the protagonist) and he nearly defeated her. But when he was about to land the finishing blow, he turned around just stood there and let the enemies impale him. (I think he said something along the lines of 'Hey Death. Come and get me!' Death would have loved that I guess. Anyway since he's the protagonist, this is the kind of lame stuff he has to do. It's troublesome being a protagonist.) So he couldn't kill her after all. And since his superiors never expected him to do this, they were shocked la.
So he died. (I haven't even got to the main plot yet.)
He found out later that what people refer to as Death isn't one person, but an association called DEATH. There are four minor branches and a main branch which is situated at the north pole (LOL). And Daemus is the manager of that branch he got to. Normally people's souls are put into this really really big room where they just run amok for a while. After a while they get to choose whether to 1. stay dead or 2. be reincarnated. For those who would stay dead, there are these places called heaven and hell but not the traditional ones. Because the souls of the good and evil are so different, they will destroy each other if put together for too long. so they have to be separated.
And then there are the soul reapers. Their job is to lead the dead souls back to DEATH and sort them out accordingly. Ghosts/spirits are the souls who have been missed by the reapers and left to rot on earth for too long. They will usually turn evil, and that's what soul reapers need fighting power for. So Viede was given the choice whether to become a soul reaper or not. Of course he chose to. Anyways, the dragons are kind of in a mutual relationship with DEATH. For those who want to be reincarnated, part of their soul, which contains their living memories, have to be severed from the main part of their soul (kind of like their personality initially) and if this soul matter gets into the wrong hands, it could be dangerous. The dragons act as incinerators, eating the soul matter. And they get fed at the same time. win-win situation.
So Viede meets the other soul reapers his age, who are Quinn (I know this is a guy's name but it sounds good a girl as well): human-lioness hybrid, Pinion: from another world, can control paper (and fold wicked origami) and Ethe: controls this red jewel of some kind.
Quinn is a soul reaper that mainly combats the ghosts/spirits. Pinion works at HQ as a secretary and photocopier. He can also send messages with paper airplanes (he was the reason why I was crazy over paper airplanes for a while during the exam period). Ethe makes the stuff that is supposedly (from Greek legends) from the river Lethe, which washes away memories, but is actually a vending machine. Ethe directs them to use it. And so he is in collaboration with Viede, who was assigned to work the Reincarnation Center. Oh, and Ethe doesn't have a mouth or eyes, so he doesn't talk. (I know there are already alot of contradictions but I have a headache now and I can't be bothered to explain them.)
So they work together for a while, then (I'll skip past the minor stuff to the important part) there is news of a war in the living world. The west and east armies have allied together to defeat their greatest adversary: DEATH. So yey.
It turns out that some sort of experiment had been performed on Irina and her powers mutated. She now has eyes in the palms of her hands as well, and her original eyes don't have pupils anymore. So the eyes in her hands can absorb the entire form of a person, so that person's soul, memories, and everything will be trapped inside her. The advantage is that she will inherit all the abilities of the person. The disadvantage is that the memories she has and the souls inside her drove her crazy. But she can still fight, so she's basically a puppet now.
They also managed to create a new dragon-human hybrid, a girl this time, who's called Sereia.
So they fight. No one has ever defeated Irina, not even the soul reapers, so when Daemus is assigned to enter the battle with Irina in it, Viede gets uber upset because 'he was just going to his death'. Daemus died of course. Viede went into battle with Sereia and because he's more experienced he manages to defeat her.
Oh I forgot another backstory here. When Viede was still young and living he had his dragon horns (he has horns, claws and a tail. Also markings at his eyes, forehead, collarbone area and tail. It's supposed to help him absorb soul matter. But obviously they're just there for decoration purposes.) Because of this he was discriminated by human (as all protagonists must be at some point of time) and when the army people found him, he had already cut off his horn with a dagger which, btw, is the same one he used to fight with in the army and as a soul reaper. (so Viede fights with a dagger, Quinn fights with two of those retractable blades I love so much - they appear in every one of my stories - Pinion fights with paper swords - don't ever EVER underestimate the power of paper cuts - and Ethe fights with his jewels, which can turn into blades and poke people. So when the army took him in the leader kept his cut-off horns while he grew back new ones. But the horns are the main source of power for the dragons.
So Sereia, at her defeat whips out Viede's old horns and says that the person told her to use it to kill him should she fail to capture him. But she says that she'll give it to him anyways. (Protagonists always get favors done for them. How come it's okay when that happens, but when the antagonists get favors done for them people always scream 'unfair!' ?) so he attaches the two other horns and powers up like every protagonist must. (why am I starting to develop a dislike for protagonists and a strong sympathy for antagonists...)
So with this powerup, he goes to fight Irina. Obviously, he kills her in the end. Oh and he does summon the other dragonkind of his to fight with him out of desperation. Of course he justifies this murder by saying that at the end she looked like her old self again, and she thanked him from freeing her from the prison of her mind. He says he'll wait for her in the Netherworld.
(btw, they are friends, not lovers. egguck.)
So the war ended with DEATH victorious. But later it was discovered that Viede has used too much of his power, and now his soul was unravelling/falling apart.
So he started losing his memories, and in the end he just disappeared into thin air.
Irina chose reincarnation.

Maybe the ending isn't so satisfying or something, but I like it. It shows that the protagonist doesn't always have a happy ending. And I feel that he must have to sacrifice something to achieve all he has. There must be a catch.
And the antagonists just live on their normal lives after the war. It's more realistic that way.
So yay. I think I won't type Azrael's story today. It's even longer than this one. Dammit -.-

... I like Viede though.
