I'm just here to quote from The Book Thief a bit. It's really a good book T^T Like one of those that can really make me cry. Though you have to read into it alot for it to make sense. -- 'Remember, Max? You told me. I remember everything... Remember the snowman, Max? Remember? In the basement? Remember the white cloud with the grey heart? The Fuhrer still comes down looking for you sometimes. He misses you. We all miss you. The whip. The whip. ' -- 'He collected her punches as if they were presents. Her bony hands and elbows were accepted with nothing but a few short moans. He accumulated the loud, clumsy specks of saliva and tears as if they were lovely to his face. More importantly, though, he was able to hold her down. ' -- 'I have hated the words and I have loved them, and I hope I have made them right. ' -- 'At the Steiners, I ran my fingers through Barbra's lovely combed hair, I took the serious look from Kurt's serious sleeping face and, one by one, I kissed the smaller ones goodnight.' (This is Death btw, taking the souls of the dead.) -- 'I carried him softly through the broken street, with one salty eye and a heavy, deathly heart. ' These parts are the ones that.. very nearly made me cry... oAo When I read this book: At first I was (o^o) ... Then I was (o_o) ... Then I was (^0^) ... Then I was (^o^) <333 ... And after that in the middle I was (=________=) ... Then I was (=^=) ... And after that I was (o_________O)... Then I was (;___________;)... Then I was (OAO;;;;;;;;;;;;)... Then I was (;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;_______________________;;;;;;;;;;;!!!) ... And then I was (0____________;;;;;;) ... And lastly I was (T^T) ... Then (; ^ ;)... Death... Max... Rudy... The Word Shaker... The clouds, like white beasts with grey, beating hearts... ... SO SADDDDD TTTTTTTTATTTTTTTTTT AHHHHHHHHHHHH T_______________T As for someone who did not read this to the end. Seriously, I don't know why you don't. Even though the middle part is boring once you get through it, well, it's worth it. haha but the bad thing is this book can never be made into a movie. Even if it was, it would suck. So my point is, please read it. It's really nice. ... 'How about a kiss, Saumensch?' |
