I've just finished the book Wings by Aprilynne Pike. Which kind of explains the totally weird dream I had last night. It was probably the first nightmare I had in a long time, which is kind of weird since it wasn't even about trolls or any of the antagonists in Wings. Wings basically has four kinds of faeries, Winter, Fall, Summer and Spring. Winter is the most powerful of all I think, Fall can make potions and stuff, I forgot what Summer does, and Spring can attract people -.- Anyways I was in this library kind of place, and there were some racial conflict taking place. I remember an old lady in glasses and a beach ball, but not much else about that part. Apparently in this world the different kinds of faeries were fighting against each other, and the ones who had weaker powers had greater strength in numbers so it was a pretty even fight. Then I was with my dad and my cousin Xuan, and we were going through this forest. I vaguely remember being there before (maybe I drank a memory elixir) but this time the sea was overflowing into it, and we all held on to each other to prevent us from floating away. We reached these houses made of stone and knocked on a door. At this point I had somehow figured out that I was Fall faerie, and we were runaways. Apparently Fall faeries were trying to peacemakers (and so became everyone's enemy) and running away from the war. We came to this place to seek refuge. This Winter faerie opened the door (they had blond hair and blue eyes?) and told us there was no space for us anymore. Then I had this feeling that someone was invading the building and we ran through the corridors and tried to hide under some mattresses. Then Xuan screamed 'Hey these are Winter faeries' and apparently my dad and him were Winter faeries, and the others had supposedly come to attack those Winter faeries from earlier who had been harbouring Fall faeries. So they started picking up trash and making them into snowballs (what?) and they told me to escape down this staircase. That staircase was apparently the climax of the nightmare -.- So I was crying (wth.) because they abandoned me because of their race, and I saw this open door. There was this... thing growing on a tree with one big eye, then I heard its voice calling my name. I don't know why but I was pretty much freaked out and I kept opening the other doors but they all lead to the forest with weird things growing on the trees, and I kept hearing more and more voices. I suppose it is because I decided when Crimson and co. were possessed they occasionally started hearing voices in their heads. I comdemned them to that fate and this is my punishment -.- Anyway I kept opening doors and asking them to shut up and I finally found on that lead to a stage where some singers were singing, so I ran out and came to more stone houses, where my family was playing ball with huge balloons. This seemingly innocent scene, however, seemed quite sinister to me and throughout the dream I was completely terrified and freaked out. And there were sinster auras everywhere... Like the time I was killing time reading a book in the mrt station, then the mrt came and I felt this sudden wave of sinister aura when the doors opened. Maybe it was the cold air but... really I felt it -.- anyway. One of my cousins was pretending to ferociously hit a balloon but at the last minute she would say she was scared and then just bump it gently. And then I woke up. meh, this dream was freakyyy I almost dozed off again after I woke up but I could feel the continuation (continuation of the dream? yume no... tsudoku he? can't rememberrr) coming, and I decided I didn't want to meet this tree-parasites again and woke up. ,,, I have the tendency to ramble. I want to use commas from now on ,,, ,,, they are like tadpoles! And I suddenly got myself addicted to water. I like the nice cool feeling it has in your stomach o_o ... YOU KNOW WHAT. I JUST FOUND THE PERFECT SONG FOR ME. Katorisenkou (Mosquito Coil) - Ai Otsuka Mosquito... Over there and here over there and here Flying around aiming at sweet blood Even if my blood is beautiful and delicious don't think I'll let you have it! Like I'll lose to you like I'll lose to you Strike the mosquito!! I'm going to use a mosquito coil on you Mosquito... At the other side and there at the other side and there The mosquito that makes me hungry flies near my ear while I'm in the middle of having a good dream ... fly somewhere else! Like I'll lose, like I'll lose Strike the mosquito!! I have no choice but to use the mosquito coil. Why does the place that you guys bite become itchy and more itchy? What you're doing troubles me. Mosquito... Strike the mosquito... Mosquito... Strike the mosquito... Let's kindle the mosquito coil fast. Lol! Although the song was.. kind of crazy I love the lyrics. Though I'm too violent for a mosquito coil. Just get out the electric badminton racquet! |
