I just finished reading The Graveyard Book. And it's really nice, the ending is sad and yet not at the same time. I suppose Nobody will come back to the graveyard to die and he'd be reunited with his family then. And Silas did promise to see him again. But really, Silas and Nobody are damn kewl. That stupid Scarlett, being scared of him... But I guess she didn't have a chance to think it over anyway. The Sleer is also kewl. We all love three-headed snake guardians. And the ghouls are so cute! The way the behave like monkeys... lol. But it's sad that Bod does not see Ms Lupescu again... And it's so sweet that Silas went around killing everyone for him. Lol. But is it really because of age that he loses his ability to see the dead and do Fading and everything? And even the Freedom of the Graveyard is gone. And all the abilities they have... Fading, Haunting, Dreamwalking, Visitation etc.. so kewl. Meheh, anyways, go and read it. Or you can borrow it from me ;D I shall go and read my other books now. The Book Thief is at the top of my list. 'They kill themselves, you mean?' said Bod. 'Indeed.' 'Does it work? Are they happier dead?' 'Sometimes. Mostly, no. It's like the people who believe they'll be happy if they go and live somewhere else, but who learn it doesn't work that way. Wherever you go, you take yourself with you. If you see what I mean.' - The Graveyard Book |
