Eh... Sorry about that post last night o_o Which I'm sure no one read, btw. And no I have not jumped off my apartment building yet -.- I was just kind of disappointed with myself, for no reason and I don't know whyyy Anyway I thought that there's no point thinking all that anyway, since I'm here already, and I have had a beginning, and nothing can change that anymore. So I just have to do whatever I'm supposed to do and get by. Which is, weirdly, the same conclusion Crimson (the person in Quagmire) reached when she found the world of her own thoughts. I don't know whether that is freaky or really, really kewl. Just proves that my mind is going around in circles. But sleep cures everything (lol) Mood swings? A sign of pregnancy. Or maybe it was PJ5? Because I was thinking about how Percy was supposed to die and how Annabeth was being stupid. I think he accepted his death pretty well though o_o Actually he should, really, since he does know what comes after, unlike most people. Can't he remember to bring some drachmas with him -.- He will be reborn anyway right, not like it's some big deal. And he can go meet Beckendorf. Actually I was thinking about the way the heroes die in all the books. (yes, I'm a sadist and don't like books unless the heroes die in them. so what.) It's just when all the main characters die, the people left behind are always being stupid and saying meaningless stuff. We will remember you, your death will not be for nothing, you have made a better life for everyone, etc etc etc. It's nothing but a lie made up to make themselves feel better. If you die, you die. You are just one of the many deaths. Your death will lead to death, just like anyone else. People can acknowledge your achievements, build you a memorial, name their children after you, name a constellation after you, cry over you, always put flowers on your grave and honor your memory forever and ever, but you're still as dead as you would have been if you'd died alone in the gutter. Once you're dead, you're dead. Not deader, not deadest. Just dead. Because you belong to another story now, a story so different from all the others that nothing can reach you there. ... Sorry for all the crap I've been spouting recently. Please ignore. |
