Me has finished me research on Sirens.Me will now share it with you here. Me kind yes? (: Completed research on Sirens Number: 3 Names: Peisinoe, Aglaope, Thelxiepeia Parentage: Achelous (rivergod) X Terpsichore (muse of choral song and dance) Location: Island - Sirenum scopuli Appearance: - half bird half woman - wings given by Demeter (for them to look for Persephone) Other facts: - sirens know both the past and the future - their song has an effect at midday in a windless calm - there are 2 theories about what sirens do with the ppl they lured onto the island.. a) They can't provide for them and they (the ppl) starve to death b) They eat them =) - Sirena, Sirène, Sirena, Syrena, Sirenă and Sereia mean 'mermaids' (Sereia is a nice name <3) - sirens are fated to die if someone hears their singing and escapes them (how sad..) - the symbol of starbucks is a siren (xDDD! I never noticed~) (What does coffee have to do with Sirens?!) Me goes yay, Sirens rock.. <33 Ma say though me like the option b) better. a) doesn't really make sense. Me ask why sing to them if you can't provide for them? Me say but maybe they're still calling for Persephone? Me wan Demeter-sama to tell them not to sing for nothing if a) is true. Me realized there's no point since they supposedly died when Odysseus-baka escaped their song. Me thinks according to the Rick-bible, the Sirens should have reformed already.
